Highly sought-after, this relatively new variety can be hard to find. The Nymphaea Black Princess's flower is very dark red, almost black and never fails to impress. The handsome green foliage provides a perfect backdrop.
As with all water lilies the Nymphaea Black Princess should be planted in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.
